READ: DOJ mulls presenting de Lima's alleged sex tape to court as 'evidence'.

JUSTICE Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II said the Department of Justice (DOJ) will present the alleged sex videos of Senator Leila de Lima to the court which will handle her case as an "evidence" should the Senator deny her suspected relationship with her former driver, Ronnie Dayan.

"Kung 'di niya iaadmit during the trial yung kanilang relationship then we will be forced to play (the video)," Aguirre said in a press conference in DOJ on Tuesday.

Aguirre said that the videos of de Lima are significant to the case being built up against her as it can explain why Dayan was directly involved in illegal drug trade in NBP.

"Malaki (ang significance). Mageexplain yun (sex videos) why Dayan was powerful, why Dayan was able to extract money from drug lords because an ordinary driver cannot do it," he said.

Aguirre said concubinage could be filed against de Lima if proven that she is the woman on the videos as Dayan is married.

But when asked whether these videos are already authenticated by the National Bureau of Investigation, Aguirre said: "Not yet, pero sa pagkakita ko lang, siguradong sigurado ako."

According to Aguirre, he has seen at least three sex videos of the Senator.

Aguirre said de Lima's former security aid, Joenel Sanchez, is set to testify before the Congress inquiry on drug proliferation the relationship between de Lima and Dayan.

"Sinabi niya (Sanchez) sa akin na talagang ang nakita niya e yung closeness ni de Lima at Dayan. Kung saan saan sila nagpupunta, sa Bicol, Pangasinan, Mindanao, sa hotel at isa lang ang kanilang tinutulugan," Aguirre said in a press conference on Monday.

Former Bureau of Corrections officer-in-charge Rafael Ragos who appeared in the Congress probe on drug proliferation last week also "confirmed" the relationship of the two.

He said de Lima and Dayan have a "girlfriend-boyfriend relationship." He also claimed to have seen Dayan in de Lima's residence in Paranaque when he delivered drug money to de Lima twice.
